Rather busy week.

I can't even tell you all of the things I did this week, but its been a busy week for me at the same time.  I do want to brag a little though.  I went to Walgreens this week, and I got two packages of gum (Orbit), and I also got a pack of 2 new pens (Bic).  I escaped Walgreens only paying .10!  I was thrilled.  I know this isn't a HUGE amount of savings, or a huge loot, but it was brag worthy to me.  I saved about 9 dollars total, I was shocked, and excited.  Who wouldn't love that?
Then I went to Target, I had two coupons for some Crunch n Clean kitty treats.  My cat doesn't get treats very often, but I went ahead and nabbed them anyways.  They were on sale for 1.48, with my 1.50 coupon, I went through the register and paid: 0.00.  The cashier was shocked, she said that I should frame the receipt.  I was just excited, lol.  I thought I would at least have to pay SOMETHING.  But nada, I felt great, and a little bit guilty...I mean to get to the checkout and not have to pay a dime?!  That's just craziness.  Again, I know, not a huge loot, but still.  I'm happy with the outcome.
I've really gotten BIG into the couponing thing.  Scoping out websites, researching online, printing coupons, buying newspapers every Sunday.  I do this ALL week long, it has literally turned into a job, that I really get paid minimally, but still.  I'm saving money for the household, and that in turn is helping us out.  So I don't mind.  I also don't mind the whole breaking out my 20 coupons to the cashier.  I have to save this money.  I am not embarrassed, why should I be?  Ya know?  Anyway, that was the highlight of my week, ha ha.

It was a great week, and I've also become a little addicted to giveaways, and the like.  Ohhhh AND I played with my Cricut (its a cutting machine).  Talk about COOL.  I made a cupcake birthday card for my friend, but I forgot to take pictures of it, so BOO.  It was soooo cute, I'm going to have to make another one.  Now I can make all sorts of stuff, but I have to convince my husband to let me move things around in the house so that I can get a table, its really hard sitting on my ol' knees trying to craft for hours, I was in pain, lol.
I will be sure to take pictures next time, like I said busy week.
I also want to give a big shout out to my friend Michelle.  Happy Birthday Michelle!
She had her birthday party last night, it was a pink themed party.  We decked ourselves out.  Paul wore a blue collared shirt with little bits of light pink, he also wore a BRIGHT pink vest, and finished it off with some pink sunglasses, it was sooo funny.  I'm so glad that I have a husband willing to play along!  I wore pink earrings, found a pink hair streak, pink bling on my hand, and lots of pink makeup.  It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad that her party was a success.
No pictures today.  My blog seems naked without them, I'll have to get on that...oh WAIT....I actually entered on Pioneer Woman's blog, a picture that I took a while ago.  I'll post it here too, I am NOT a professional photographer or anything of the sort.  I think some of my photos turn out okay, but I have no training, and don't do nearly as well as the ones actually featured on her blog.  Still, I thought what the heck.  I'll put something in there.  So I posted a few of my favorite foodie pics, here they are.
